About us
The Athens Eagles Rugby Football Club (Athens Eagles RFC) is a D3 competitive Rugby Club that joined the Georgia Rugby Union (GRU) in 2008. The Athens Eagles RFC won the GRU Championship in 2012 and 2022. Our 501(c)(3) non-profit Rugby Football Club welcomes anyone to join the Rugby community as players and support members because it is more than just a sport. It is a culture built around comradery, respect, and the enjoyment of Rugby. You don’t have to be an active player to participate in rugby; you can help off the field too.
